Citation and Writing: APA Citation

Citation Style: APA

At Kent School, your work in the Science Department requires citation according to the American Psychological Association's APA Style. APA emphasizes the currency of information in its rules. As such, the in-text citation includes the year of publication in addition to author and page number. For example: (Heard, 1992, p.190).

The focus for work done in the Science Department is making sure you give credit to the sources of information you gathered in your research. For ease of use, we recommend using NoodleTools to track your sources and cite them appropriately.
